The Amrun project extends mining activities on part of Rio Tinto’s existing lease south of the Embley River, between Weipa and Aurukun in North Queensland.

The Amrun project includes the construction of a range of infrastructure required to support mining activities.

Working with Decmil, MODE were engaged to produce and co-ordinate construction documentation for the Mining Infrastructure Area support facilities. These areas included the maintenance workshop and warehouse, refuelling facilities and pre-fabricated buildings for operations, crib and emergency.
