In 1991 Rhonan O’Brien established his practice,
Rhonan O’Brien Architects
and Designers Pty Ltd.
As a result of significant business growth, MODE DESIGN Corp Pty. Ltd was established in 2005. Robert McCray and Peter Bertram became Co-Directors with Rhonan in the new business entity that year, and five years later, Wayne Jackson and Trevor Barker became Directors in 2010, as a result of the merger with Codd Stenders Pty Ltd.
In 2021, MODE celebrated its 30th anniversary, with the once tiny firm now an international design practice, delivering world-class multidisciplinary outcomes for our partners throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
