Following the successful completion of Stage 1, MODE partnered with JLL and the Department of Agriculture & Water Resources (DAWR) to deliver Stage 2 of their Brisbane Airport workplace fitout.

Working closely with stakeholder groups, the project responded to complex operational and security requirements within a Commonwealth secure environment.

The staged refurbishment spanned two floors, including upgraded laboratory spaces, offices, meeting rooms, breakout areas, and staff kitchens. Designed around Activity Based Workplace (ABW) principles, the fitout improved collaboration, increased workplace capacity, and enhanced staff engagement and functionality.

A vibrant interior palette and carefully selected furniture create a welcoming environment, while colour-themed building wings improve wayfinding and spatial identity throughout the workplace.
