The Kidman Centre | Randwick, NSW
The facility includes 11 consultation rooms, flexible meeting and multipurpose spaces, reception and waiting areas, staff amenities, and support spaces.
Designed for young people aged 5–25 and their families, the centre provides a welcoming, non-clinical environment informed by research into positive mental health and wellbeing. Natural light, blonde timber finishes, soft colours, and biophilic elements create a calm and supportive atmosphere throughout.
The reception and waiting areas feature distinct spaces for parents and young patients, while wide corridors, frosted glazing, and thoughtfully planned interiors enhance comfort, openness, and privacy. Consultation rooms maximise natural light and acoustic performance, with furniture layouts carefully considered to support patient-clinician interaction.
Flexible meeting and multipurpose rooms support workshops, family consultations, student hot-desking, and staff wellbeing, creating a highly adaptable facility that promotes healing, learning, and collaboration.
