Government investment in essential infrastructure continues to create opportunities across Australia and New Zealand, with increasing demand for experienced design partners capable of delivering complex, secure and operationally critical environments.
To support the continued growth of this portfolio, MODE has appointed Hans Van Wyk as Secure Sector Lead, reinforcing the practice's commitment to delivering specialist government infrastructure across the justice, policing, education, health and civic sectors.
Hans brings extensive experience leading complex government projects and a deep understanding of the operational, stakeholder and delivery requirements that underpin critical public infrastructure.
MODE's experience spans a diverse range of government and public infrastructure projects, including the $5.5 billion The Wave Stage 1, a major new rail connection for Sunshine Coast, $500 million Waikeria Prison Development in New Zealand, the award-winning CDU Danala Education and Community Precinct in Darwin, the $40 million Australian Police Headquarters in Darwin, the $90 million UniSQ EDGY Building in Queensland and Western Australia's largest education PPP, delivering multiple primary and secondary schools across the state.
Working alongside clients and project teams, Hans will provide leadership across secure-sector projects while helping strengthen relationships, develop opportunities and support the continued growth of MODE's government portfolio throughout Australia and New Zealand.
