Q-Pharm Clinical Trials | Herston, QLD

The project comprised a major refurbishment of a level within the QIMR Clive Berghofer Centre for Medical Research to house the relocated Q-Pharm facility.

MODE worked closely with both Q-Pharm staff and the QIMR team throughout the project to maximise the efficiency and amenity of the layout, ensure the medical facilities were appropriate for the intended use and improve wayfinding and visual connections to the broader Centre. Close attention was paid to the amenity and comfort provided for the volunteers with a media and dining room, individual storage facilities and warm finishes. Aesthetic qualities such as a feature wall were utilised to create a pleasant, non-clinical feel and reinforce Q-Pharm branding.

The project was completed on time and on budget and has received positive feedback from QPharm staff, visitors, volunteers and the QIMR community.
