Moree Regional Airport | Moree, NSW

The Federal Government made amendments to the Aviation Transport Security Regulations in 2018 and Moree Airport was identified as a regional airport where an increased level of security screening was required.

Moree Plains Shire Council engaged MODE, in conjunction with Aviation Projects and AEG, to provide a comprehensive business case and options for increased security.

MODE first undertook an assessment of the existing terminal facilities to determine the opportunities and constraints, followed by an assessment of passenger flows and spatial requirements to provide an ‘optimum’ level of service under the IATA guidelines. MODE produced several solutions and concepts for the Client.
