The Mermaid Beach Radiology fitout delivered a medical imaging facility within an existing cold shell tenancy at Mermaid Beach.
The completed clinic consolidated ultrasound, general X-ray, CT and MRI services within a single location, providing access to a range of diagnostic imaging services.
Calming lighting treatments and projected imagery were incorporated within imaging areas to reduce the clinical feel of the environment and provide positive distraction during procedures.
Particular attention was given to the experience of younger patients. A themed X-ray room was designed specifically for paediatric imaging, creating a more engaging setting and helping to reduce stress for children and their families during appointments.
The completed fitout balanced the technical requirements of a modern radiology practice with a patient-focused interior environment, supporting both clinical operations and patient wellbeing.
