Boonah Town Centre Revitalisation | Boonah, QLD
As part of the Scenic Rim Regional Council’s Vibrant and Active Towns and Villages initiative (VATV), MODE worked closely with the Council to develop a variety of innovative options for revitalising Boonah’s town center.
MODE identified a variety of existing problems requiring resolution including poor circulation, steep grades, limited passive surveillance, non-compliant pathways and ramps, and a lack of car parking. This resulted in a re-design of a large portion of the Council Chambers forecourt and the underutilized council owned land adjoining the chambers.
