Toowoomba Region Sports Precinct – Charlton, Toowoomba QLD

Excited to share MODE’s role in the transformation of the Toowoomba Region Sports Precinct, a major investment in regional sport, community, and place-making.

From master planning through to detailed documentation for Precinct A, we applied a holistic, multidisciplinary approach, uniting architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, and wayfinding. By reinterpreting the original master plan through the lenses of best practice, user experience, resilience, sustainability, and innovation, our integrated framework ensured every decision contributed to a unified and enduring vision.

Our focus was to rethink the original plan with an emphasis on user experience, resilience, and sustainability. The updated master plan retains the precinct’s role as a premier destination for sport, while improving circulation, staging logic, and facility adaptability to support future growth.

The result is a design-led vision for a vibrant, future-ready precinct that will strengthen regional capacity for state and national events and support local clubs and schools across the Darling Downs and Toowoomba region.

This is CONNECTED BY DESIGN in action. Disciplines linked, ideas shared, and outcomes elevated through MODE’s Innovation Capitalisation™ methodology at the core of every project.
