Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge | Melbourne, VIC
MODE is delivering the new 750sqm Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge within Terminal 2 at Melbourne International Airport, translating the airline’s global premium lounge concept into a refined local context.
The project forms a key component of Singapore Airlines’ end-to-end customer experience, extending its renowned in-flight hospitality to the ground.
Working in close collaboration with Singapore-based project managers and design partners, the MODE team is responsible for interpreting the global brand overlay and adapting it to Australian regulatory, operational, and construction requirements. The lounge is designed to embody the airline’s “Home Away from Home” philosophy, offering Suites, First and Business Class passengers, and PPS Club members a seamless, high-quality pre-departure environment.
The design balances modernity, sophistication, and operational efficiency, with a strong focus on material quality, attention to detail, and spatial comfort. Dedicated dining, relaxation, and work zones are carefully integrated to support both passenger wellbeing and efficient service operations, while reinforcing the Singapore Airlines brand identity at a critical international gateway.
Set for completion in September 2026, the project represents a significant brand touchpoint within the airline’s global network, showcasing Singapore Airlines’ commitment to premium customer care and a seamless, hospitality-led travel experience.
