We’re proud to share that the Waikeria Prison Development has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Civic, Health and Arts Property Award at the Property Council New Zealand Property Industry Awards.

This milestone continues MODE’s strong collaboration with Ara Poutama Aotearoa , marking our third PPP project delivered together. It reflects a growing relationship built on trust, shared understanding, and a commitment to delivering complex, high-impact social infrastructure.

A project of this complexity is never the result of a single team. It has been a genuine collaboration, and we’re proud to have worked alongside Chow:Hill Architects, Robert Bird Group, AECOM, Webb Australia Group, and RGC Consulting Group in bringing this project forward. Delivered for our client CPB Contractors, the project brought together MODE’s integrated team across Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, and Graphic Design and wayfinding.
