With over thirty years experience in the industry, David maintains a strong commitment to delivering high quality design outcomes. He has experience with most building typologies including residential, commercial, urban design and cultural buildings, and has extensive experience in designing theatres and museums.

David has strong leadership qualities and enjoys working with clients, consultants and contractors to achieve outstanding built outcomes.

David’s education was at the Dublin School of Architecture and Trinity College Dublin. Following graduation, he worked in Paris and Dublin for 11 years, particularly on two renowned projects – the National Theatre of China in Beijing and the Temple Bar Redevelopment in Dublin.

He joined Cox Architecture’s Brisbane office in 2000, becoming an Associate working on AIA Award-winning projects including Flinders Street Revitalisation in Townsville and the Cairns Performing Arts Centre. David has recently returned from Oman, where he was a vital member of the resident team for Oman across the Ages Museum. He joined MODE in 2021 and has been working on the Fish Lane and Bailey Street projects.

David is located in our Brisbane studio.
