Amanda Oates is a nationally recognised architectural leader and Registered Architect with over 25 years of experience orchestrating the end-to-end delivery of complex, multimillion- dollar developments across health, infrastructure, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. As National Health Lead at MODE, she brings a commercially astute and strategically focused approach to healthcare design, combining architectural vision with stakeholder imperatives, regulatory frameworks, and long-term asset optimisation.
Previously leading multidisciplinary teams and collaborated with government and private sector clients to deliver highperforming, community-focused environments. Her leadership is defined by clarity, innovation, and a deep understanding of clinical planning, project governance, and commercial viability.
Amanda is also a passionate advocate for gender equity in architecture and an active member of NAWIC, where she mentors emerging professionals and promotes inclusive leadership.
