All learning spaces are designed to allow traditional classroom spaces to be opened up and combined with incidental spaces, to create spaces suitable for a range of pedagogical practices, such as project based learning, inquiry based learning, or student focused learning. Flexibility was the driving consideration in the design of learning spaces, to allow spaces to respond to a variety of learning configurations. The use of operable walls, multiple teaching walls, ergonomic and reconfigurable furniture, and flexible power and data infrastructure, allows spaces to be reconfigured quickly and easily between, and within classes if required, allowing teachers the flexibility to respond rapidly to take advantage of educational opportunities as they arise.
